Reclaim Active

Having experienced hardship finding suitable hijabs and activewear for working out, Sumeya began researching if other women felt the same way. She was studying innovation & entrepreneurship and used her final year in school to develop a deeper understanding. Collecting feedback from more than 300 women, it became clear that modest women were not feeling seen and truly catered to by most activewear brands. A genuine desire to change this, became the birth of Reclaim Active.

Our lofty dreams and ambitions have always propelled us forward, and the journey towards them began with countless prototypes. The development of the ideal active hijab involved many experiments and setbacks, but each attempt taught us invaluable lessons.

From the outset, our goal was clear: We aimed to create an active hijab that would cater to the needs of many.
